My Projects

05.11.13 - I am currently stitching 4 Christmas Stockings, 3 Baubles and my Tree of Life HAED.

01.04.12 - over the Saturday and Sunday I spent a total of 7.5 hours on the following projects and as you can see I have started another...

A Tiger Lazy Sunday - 2.5 hours, finished the section I was on and have now moved onto the next section...


Fizzy Moon With Love Card - 1 hr, finished all the light tan stitches and now half way through dark cream...


Needlebook - 3.5hrs, finished all the leaves and the top 2 flowers...


Keep Calm and Start Stitching - 0.5 hrs, just started and have completed ALM P ...

28.03.12 - I have started using a larger frame to hold this in and I am getting on with it a lot better.



I am also working on a free kit I got with Cross Stitcher Magazine

Currently I am stitching a large project of tiger on a tree.  It is stitched on 16 count Aida using DMC threads.

And this is my progress as of 22.03.2012

  1. Good luck on Fizzy Moon. I have promised myself I will stitch every available Fizzy Moon design there is. Naturally I have done so before the Calendar came out ... and now I have my work cut out for me. My mum loves these bears ... so that's ever Birthday/Christmas etc for the next few years sorted. I hate the little cards though. The backstitching is a pain - so much easier on bigger things. There is a total of 3 small cards, and I have done 1 and a half. This one I have decided not to even bother starting - gave it to my sister who was lacking inspiration/money for the birthday gift for mum.

  2. Hi Lija, I know what you mean about the cards. This one feels like such a chore but I always try to finish something I've started or else it will drive me mad. I try to do patterns that have no backstitch as I can't stand it but at least this has no French Knots! Really nice to speak to you xxx
